What Do All Those Numbers Mean
Displayed on the TV Screen?
There are several numbers typically shown on the screen which indicates the entire game in a recap plus the game's current status. If you don't know what each means, it can definitely seem overwhelming. Here's a breakdown to help:
SHOWN FOR BOTH TEAMS
Points Scored for Each Team
How Many Time Outs Left (3 per quarter for each team)
Current Quarter (4 quarters in total)
Time left in the Quarter (15 minutes per quarter)
SHOWN FOR TEAM IN POSSESSION OF THE BALL
Current Down Status
Countdown between Each Down (40 seconds allowed per play)

THE WHITE DOTS
SAN FRANCISCO has 2 time outs | FALCONS have 3 time outs
YELLOW ARROW
The yellow arrow points to the FALCONS so they have the ball. It's 3rd down and they have 5 more yards to gain for a first down.

There are 7 seconds left before the quarterback has to snap the ball.
13:16 | 2ND
There is 13 minutes and 16 seconds left in the 2ND quarter.

TWO MINUTE WARNING:
Before halftime and before the end of the game,
there is a two minute warning that automatically stops the
clock indicating there are only 2 minutes left of playing time.

Cross the opposing teams Goal Line.

EXTRA POINT
Kick the ball through the opposing team's goal post after a Touchdown.

The touchdown and the extra point are often shown together,
so that's why you'll see 7 points often.
FIELD GOAL
Kick the ball through the opposing team's goal post from a point on the field

TWO POINT CONVERSION
Immediately after a touchdown, from the 2 yard line, if you cross the opposing team's goal line.

SAFETY
When you are tackled in your own end zone, the other team scores.
